The short sale located at 10305 Coral Creek Road in Snapper Creek Lakes closed last week for a sales price of $2,850,000 (list price was $3,950,000). Although they purchased the house for $1,000,000 under the list price, it was a short sale which means that the list price is relatively meaningless. When you submit an offer on a short sale the bank will do its own analysis of price and either accept, reject or counter the buyer’s offer. They do not take into consideration the list price of the home which was set by the seller.
