Read This Before You Buy A Home On A Coral Gables Golf Course

Coral Gables offers some great golf course front properties.  But many people get so excited about owning a property on a golf course that they forget to ask some important questions.  First, check to see where the house is located in relation to the hole, some homes are more likely than others to end up with broken windows.  Ask the golf club for a review of their policy regarding errant balls.  There may be slight changes that can be made to the course if balls continue to rain into your pool.  Finally, know what your insurance policy covers: broken windows, injuries to your guests etc.

If that hasn’t scared you off, below are a sample of homes in Coral Gables with golf course views.  To see a full list click here, prices range from $675,000 to $3,950,000.

Riley, thanks for the great information. I’d like to add that, regarding North Greenway Drive and some of the streets even off South Greenway, the houses I checked are in a flood zone. I know it sounds odd, but there’s a flood zone designation of 1-3 foot flooding around there.
